Opening in Fall 2025, HCA Kershaw is a FREE public charter school serving students in 5K through 5th grade. We’ve secured a large property right across from the Kershaw County Airport, and we're actively finalizing our site plans to bring this vision to life!

As a public charter school, there are no zoning restrictions, no entrance exams, and no screenings — every South Carolina student is welcome to apply.

We’re building something special here — rooted in flexibility, service, and connection.

Enrollment at HCA Kershaw

HCA Kershaw is a South Carolina public charter school that follows a lottery-based enrollment process, as required by state law. We are proudly sponsored by the Limestone Charter Association and open to students from anywhere in South Carolina — no district boundaries or zoning restrictions apply. Please note: all students must be SC residents, and residency will be verified during the enrollment process.

How to Apply

Enrolling in our lottery is quick and easy! Just follow these simple steps:

1. Register HERE for a Lotterease account at HCA Kershaw.

2. Add your child to your Lotterease account.

3. Select your child’s grade level for the 2025–2026 school year.

4. Click submit.

5. Lotterease well inform you if you have been offered a spot, or if not, what number you are on the waitlist. On the waitlist? Don't panic! Charter schools utilize their waitlists all the time!

Missed the Open Enrollment Window?

Our official Open Enrollment period ran from November 22 through March 31, 2025, but it's not too late to apply! We are still accepting applications for all grade levels — and if there’s enough interest, we’re excited to explore adding additional classrooms.
